Accompany us back in history to a time when Tomelilla consisted of only seven farms and a few townhouses.
Byagården from the 1850’s is the only remaining building from the original village consisting of seven farms and town houses. The last private owner was Per Jönsson. In 1926 the farm was purchased by Tomelilla Byagård association. The beautiful farm consists of four buildings with a foundation of half-timbre and thatched roofs. There is also a collection of tools and household utensils.
